Ronald Omuthe is currently a PhD Education candidate at the University of Cambridge. For the past ten years, he has implemented various education interventions in emergency and conflict contexts, aimed at improving basic quality education access among marginalised populations and post-primary tertiary vocational skills training opportunities for youth-out-of-school to enhance capabilities for their livelihoods and self-reliance. His PhD research is focused on examining the potential of fee-paying private schools on education access and quality in protracted refugee setups.
