At the ADEA Triennale, partners launched a new report, “Effective Reading Instruction in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: What the Evidence Shows.” Drawing on over 120 studies across 100+ languages, it identifies the key skills and teaching practices that best support literacy.

Endorsed by GEEAP (FCDO, UNICEF, Gates Foundation, World Bank, and others), the study highlights one clear solution to the global literacy crisis: empowering teachers with evidence-based approaches.

🎙️ In our latest Africa Learning Together podcast, host Charlie Covington speaks with Dr. Benjamin Piper (Gates Foundation) and Dr. Cheikh Beye (Ministry of Education, Senegal) about practical lessons for governments and educators.
