ADEA-African Diaspora Task Force Meeting

A meeting of the ADEA-African Diaspora Task Force will take place on  29-30 July 2013 in Tunis. The purpose of the meeting is to examine the proposed initiatives of the Task Force, identify new ones, agree on concrete implementation steps and also identify partners and sources of funding for the initiatives. It is also hoped that the meeting would solidify the growing relationship between ADEA and the African Diaspora. Items for discussions include the review and implementation of the initiatives already identified; engaging the African governments; role of the African Diaspora in the post-2015 education agenda; and documenting Diaspora achievements and contributions to education in Africa.
