Nathalie Guilbert
Nathalie is a senior development economist currently working for UNESCO’s international Institute for Educational Planning. Her research explores gender, youth, and child well-being, with a focus on resource allocation mechanisms. She has led several impact evaluations and applied research projects in the areas of education, social protection, child labor, SGBV, women’s empowerment. Dedicated to generating evidence that informs policymaking and dialogue, her work has primarily focused on Sub-Saharan Africa. Before joining IIEP, Nathalie conducted research for UNICEF Innocenti, served as research officer at the French Development Agency and worked as economist for the World Bank Gender Innovation Lab. She started her career as policy analyst for the Food and Agriculture Organization. She holds a PhD in economics from Paris-Dauphine University.
