Chinedu Anarado
Chinedu has spent fifteen (15) years in international development. He has worked in program and project management as well as development communications, knowledge management, policy advocacy, stakeholder management, public and media relations. In his current role as Communications Specialist, he is supporting ADEA’s education advocacy activities by leading media and communication campaigns to improve learning outcomes in Africa.
Prior to this role, he worked at the British Council and Cambridge Education where he supported the implementation of Nigeria’s first ever conflict management and peace building programme and the implementation of the Teacher Development Programme (TDP) respectively; both funded by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office. In both programmes, he set up the communications function and led result communication. He notably led the validation and roll-out of Nigeria’s revised national teacher education policy (NTEP) in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Education in Nigeria.
Chinedu is a 2019 Fellow of the Bucerius Summer School on Global Governance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in modern European Languages and a master’s degree in media and communication. He is a PRINCE2 certified project manager.
