FAWE presents a comparative study on vocational training in sub-SaharanAfrica with a focus on post-conflict situations. The study reviews TVET policies in Burundi, Liberia and Sierra Leone from a gender perspective. The review provides a sense as to the scope and nature of gende disadvantages and inequity in vocational training in the three countries as well as make recommendations on how to bridge the gaps identified. It is expected that this study will contribute to influencing policy makers in the targeted countries to reform technical and vocational training to be more inclusive of girls' needs and aspirations.
