Facebook Policy

This document is intended for a global audience. All Terms and Conditions of Facebook apply respectively.

ADEA Facebook account (facebook.com/adeanet) is a social media platform to communicate and stay connected to ADEA through the exchange of messages, status updates, photos and videos. ADEA’s posts contain photos, videos, links and text. 

Our Account will allow ADEA to access your personal information if you upload such data to Facebook in certain circumstances. 

ADEA reserves not only the right to add, delete, or modify its own Facebook posts but also to block any user (eg. person, organization, etc.) which do not comply with ADEA Digital Media Terms of Use as well as removing irresponsible content (eg. discriminatory, obscene comments or hate propaganda; activity that violates any law; spam; etc.) from its Facebook Page.

If you like our FB Fan page, you can expect posts covering, but not limited to the following: 

  1. Strategic pictures, infographics and videos;
  2. Press Releases, info notes and articles on ADEA’s activities;
  3. Event information and occasional live coverage of events;
  4. Alerts about new content on our website and social media channels; 

Which pages we like 

If you like our FB Fan page through another FB Fan page, we will not automatically like your page back. This is to help our audience to identify other Facebook page that we already liked, such as relevant education institutions and accounts of particular relevance to ADEA. 

Feedback/Comments/Complaints

We welcome feedback from our fans and will try to join the conversation where possible. However, we may not be able to reply individually to all the messages we receive via Facebook. The best means of communicating a query to us is by sending us a message at: adea@afdb.org
